Fitness Regime Sweeps The Lively Crew Office

Inspired by Combat Bootcamp, we have decided to set-up a new fitness regime at our Norwich HQ, designed to get the blood and adrenaline pumping.

Under the catchy moniker of '20,20,20,20' all The Lively Crew staff members indulge in 20 sit-ups, 20 press-ups, 20 squats and 20 seconds of the plank. The idea is to counter the many baked good which appear in the office during the course of the week. At this moment there are a selection of biscuits, jaffa cakes, cream cakes and scones which the team are valiantly making their way through.

If you want to help unburden the team and enjoy a biscuit and cup of tea, pop by. We probably won't even make you burn them off afterwards...

Fruit Focus and Combat Bootcamp complete a busy week out of and inside Norwich HQ

We have a busy week inside and outside our Norwich HQ this week, with Fruit Focus and Combat Bootcamp alongside our other client work.

On Tuesday and Wednesday this week Valerie and Andy will be in Kent representing the money-saving, revolutionary Fresh Pod, which utilises ethylene control to keep fruit and veg fresher for upto four times as long as normal. 100% natural and non-toxic, Fresh Pod is a vital cog in the fight against climate change, which can save the average UK family over £400 a year in wasted food. Over 6.7 million tonnes of uneaten food is thrown away in the UK each year, which is terrible news for both the environment and our wallets a loss Fresh Pod can prevent.

Earlier in the week, our Marketing Manager Andy will, along with his football team, be put through his paces by Norfolk military fitness experts Combat Bootcamp. In the middle of a gruelling pre-season Andy has enlisted the support of our sister company to help ensure his side are fighting fit by the start of the season.

We are also delighted to be able to announce that Nicolas Hamilton has agreed to become an ambassador of Disabled Motoring UK, after joining us on the Alps Challenge.

We are still recruiting - Marketing and Events Work Experience vacancy still open

Are you looking for more experience and think you could handle life in a busy Norwich marketing and events agency?

We are still looking for somebody to come in and help us manage our portfolio of Online Business Directories, which currently cover the listings of over 11,000 Norfolk businesses, spread over Breckland, Broadland and South Norfolk. Alongside the directories, we also run quarterly business breakfast forums in Attleborough, Thetford, Broadland and South Norfolk, which have over 60 members each and provide an excellent platform for business-led initiatives in the region.

Within this framework, it is our job to substantially increase the profile of the businesses, which we achieve through a range of online and offline marketing tools. First and foremost though we must make sure that all the details we have listed, are as up-to-date as possible, which we achieve by calling the businesses individually. This not only ensures that our databases remain the best place to search for business information in Norfolk, but also allow us to ascertain the needs of businesses and how they will get the maximum benefit from their listings.

While primarily fulfilling this telesales role, the placement will also give you experience of all 17 marketing disciplines we offer; including copy-writing, PR, website management, search engine optimisation, sponsorship, event management and design to name but a few.
The position is currently unpaid, but there is potential for the right candidate to earn a paid position within the company. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm, but we anticipate this position to give you Wednesday’s off.

If you are interested email Andrew Lawn on andrew@thelivelycrew.co.uk or call 08456 345 185 for details on how to apply..

Alps Challenge Gallery Updated

Our gallery of images from the Alps Challenge is up and running, featuring exclusive shots of the trip as well as our celebrity supporters, including Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, Ade Adepitan and Nicolas Hamilton.

We also managed to squeeze in a sneaky shot of Disabled Motoring UK CEO Graham Footer proudly displaying his Norwich City shirt on the roof of Europe, following their promotion to the Premier League.

We hope to update our YouTube channel with some more footage from the trip in the coming days, but in the meantime grab yourself a cup of tea and settle down for a 40 image romp across Europe on board a 1932 Mobility trike.
