Wymondham based cancer charity Star Throwers have been awarded a £10,000 grant from the Big Lottery Fund 'Awards for All' programme.
The funding will be used to resurface the driveway leading to our premises to remove existing potholes and even the driveway. This will enable us to provide a more accessible entrance route to our cancer care centre for patients, volunteers and other members of the community. Work on the project is due to go ahead in August.
Steven Ho from Star Throwers said “We are absolutely delighted to have been chosen for this money. Our centre in Wymondham is a key part of the care we offer. The centre is fully-equipped and acts as a comfortable and safe environment for people affected by cancer to come and receive treatment, advice or just relax. Our thanks must go to the Big Lottery Fund for helping to support our work and people across Norfolk affected by cancer.”
